Kid Approved Mac N Cheese!



🧀 1 lb elbow pasta
🧀 1 large yellow onion, chopped
🧀 2 cups Veggie Broth
🧀 4 Cloves Garlic, chopped
🧀 1 tsp garlic powder
🧀 1 tsp italian seasoning
🧀 1 tsp onion powder
🧀 Juice of One Lemon
🧀 1 Tbsp Turmeric
🧀 1/2 Cup Nutritional Yeast
🧀 1/2 Cup Raw Cashews
🧀 1/4 tsp salt (optional)

🍽 Boil pasta according to packaged instructions. Drain & set      aside.
🍽 Add onion, garlic, italian seasoning, garlic powder, &            onion powder to sauce pan with 1 CUP of veggie broth.        Cook until broth evaporates at medium heat. (About            5-7 minutes) 
🍽 In highspeed blender, add 1 Cup of veggie broth,                cashews, cooked onion mixture, & lemon juice.
🍽 Blend until well combined. 
🍽 Add Turmeric until desired orange color (about 1 Tbsp)
🍽 Add Nutritional Yeast & blend on medium high speed for      3 minutes until well combined and thickened.
🍽 Note: The sauce may not look completely thickened to          desired consistency in blender. Don't Panic!
🍽 Pour sauce over pasta noodles in a large stovetop pan          over medium heat. Mix until thickened (about 2                  minutes).
🍽 Serve!
🍽 Add Paprika & Crispy onions if desired! (Shown Pictured)
