Almond Energy Bites

Ingredients

Directions

🥄 3/4 cup (about 9) dates, pitted
🥄 2 tbsp hot water
🥄 1/2 cup almond or any nut butter
🥄 1/2 cup almonds, toasted
🥄 1/2 cup oats
🥄 3 tbsp cacao powder
🥄 3-4 tbsp coconut, shredded (optional) 



🍽 Add dates to high speed blender  
🍽 Add hot water and blend together until a paste is created
🍽 Add nut butter, almonds, oats, & cacao powder.
🍽 BLEND until well combined. It's ok if there are some bigger nut pieces! 
🍽 Pour mixture into a bowl
🍽 Have another bowl of shredded coconut for rolling balls in.
🍽 Roll 1 inch piece of mixture with hands and drop into the shredded coconut
🍽 Store in air tight container for up to 2 weeks!
